The Segromingo Farmhouse estate is a Tuscan holiday home on the outskirts of Lucca, at Segromigno in Monte, a typical Tuscan village situated along the slopes of the hills of Lucca, and is surrounded by age-old olive groves and ancient woods.

The recently restored farmhouse set along a hillside overlooking the plain of Lucca is, without doubt, the perfect spot for those wishing to spend their holidays amongst enchanting countryside whilst still being able to enjoy the benefits of all the latest modern amenities.

The farmhouse is surrounded by extensive woods and has a garden equipped with outdoor furniture and a swimming pool. Furthermore, the olive groves and oak forests are beautiful locations in which to enjoy relaxed picnics in the heart of the countryside. The farmhouse is the ideal setting for family holidays, and is also suitable for groups, couples, sports enthusiasts, lovers of nature and all those who enjoy a healthy lifestyle and adventure holidays. Moreover, it can cater for both congresses and work conferences.

This rural dwelling is divided into 5 units which can accommodate up to 35 + 4 people, in 18 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms. It has been tastefully furnished and have special facilities guaranteeing a high level of comfort for guests.

Guest can enjoy the park, the swimming pool, a laundry room, a barbecue area and a wood burning oven in which bread and pizzas can be prepared.

The property can be rented without the 5 unit for 30 + 4 people. In this case there are 15 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.

Segromingno Farmhouse - holiday houses
Recently renovated, Segromigno Farmhouse has been divided into four very spacious houses Camelia Orchidea Melograno and Ginestra, of various size and all of which are independent. Villa Margherita is the fifth unit and it is located in front of the house.

In the restoration work prestigious materials were used to create high quality results; the ceilings have wooden ceiling beams and the terracotta floors reflect Tuscan tradition, as do the antique furniture and 'pietra serena' fireplaces. It perfectly combined elegance and practicality with well equipped kitchens, marble bathrooms and jacuzzi bathtubs. The sophisticated style of décor and attention to detail, create a luxurious, cosy and very comfortable atmosphere.

The fifth unit is a separate building with  a private gateway, car park and swimming pool (6x12m) it means that if you rent the entire property, you will have 2 swimming pools to enjoy. In the property you can also find a ping-pong table and 2 swings to entertain your kids!

All the houses have wireless Internet access and a shared laundry room is available with washing machine and iron.

The outside garden is very well kept and full of beautiful flowers. There is a well equipped areas for outdoor dining for each house, a beautiful swimming pool, a wood burning oven for baking bread and pizzas and a barbecue. There is plenty of space inside and outside for family and friends to enjoy relaxed meals together. Inside guest can dine at two tables in the living room. these can be connected or separated. Outside there is a nice terrace with 3 tables available. It is an ideal spot to take full advantage of the outside kitchen where guest can freshly prepare meal.

The owners are planning on adding a outside Jacuzzi for 6 people in 2013.

Whilst visiting Lucca, there are many must see attractions - including the Roman amphitheatre, the Duomo di San Martino (a Romanesque cathedral dating back to the 14th century) and Piazza Napoleone.

Rail and road links provide easy access from the nearby Pisa and Florence.

Conferences
At the Segromigno Farmhouse you can organize a conference or meeting in a location alternative to the classic hotel, specifically, in the cellar of the farmhouse, very characteristic because it has retained the original style, with its stone walls and brickwork arches.

Villa Conditions
- Capacity: The property comfortably sleeps 35 persons.
- Security deposit: €1200. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- €2200 reduction on the property if rented without the fifth unit.
- Linen & towels: Linen and towels are included in the rental price. Please note that pool towels are not included.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: Included in price.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- Air conditioning: available only in the fifth unit
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
