Villa La Residenza is not just a rental villa; it is a home. The owner's have collected a unique mix of antiques and modern furnishings from all over the world, aiming to blend the old and new with a sense of style and comfort.
The house is not a typical one: in Italy this type of home is known as palazzo signorile, which is translated as noble or gentleman's house.

Accomodation consists of three air conditioned suites. Stanza Grigia and Stanza Viola are large suites with en-suite bathrooms, on the other side of which is a smaller bedroom used to sleep 1 or to use as a dressing/reading room. Stanza Turchese is on the top floor and has an en-suite bathroom as well, including a free-standing bathtub (with handheld shower). The bathrooms are all stylishly designed and equipped with all modern amenities. Luxurious bedding is provided in all rooms.
Eating, Drinking and Relaxing
The dining room and kitchen are on either side of a lovely working fireplace, and if you prefer to dine at home there is every imaginable type of cookware and utensil at your disposal. There is a charming breakfast terrace just off the dining room for a leisurely cappuccino in the sun.
On the ground floor guests will find a large living area with plenty of seating for family and friends to gather. There is a flat screen 42" television and DVD player as well as an ipod station. There is also a large selection of DVD's to view as well as books and magazines.

Outdoor Features
The house has a large garden which is meticulously planted with cypress treesm a pomegranite tree and various beautiful flowers. There is a small vasca which can be used as a plunge pool, as well as lounge chairs on the main terrace where guests can bask under the Tuscan Sun.

Built into the ancient city wall of Castelmuzio, Villa La Residenza is perfectly situated in the tiny but charming Piazza San Bernadino, also called Piazza IV Novembre. Shopping for wine, produce, meats, cheeses, olive oli and luxury foods such as truffle oil is fantastic in the area surrounding the property. The owner's are very inviting and more than happy to point you in the right direction!
Castlemuzio is conveniently situated north of Rome and south of Florence about 15 minutes drive from the A1 autostrada. It is in the province of Siena and in the heart of the stunning, UNESCO-protected Val D'Orcia.

- Capacity: The property comfortably sleeps 8 people, in 3 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms.
- Security deposit: €500. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: Linen and towels are included in the rental price. Please note that pool towels are not included.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: 200 euros to be paid on arrival.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
